The Catto 1 showing occurs in a Triassic to Jurasic syenite plug that intrudes Upper Triassic Stuhini Group rocks. A three centimetre by twenty centimetre pod of bornite is localized along a fracture plane in the syenite. A select sample (32440) of the mineralized pod assayed 1.89 per cent copper with otherwise insignificant base and precious metal values (Assessment Report 21061).
